Welcome to my website! Since I retired some 8 years ago I have dramatically extended my worldwide travels, so much so, that I have now travelled to 93 countries (see Links for a map of the counties covered). These journeys have covered every continent and have crossed all the world's major oceans and seas. I have twice rounded the North Cape on the famous Hurtigruten ferry and have twice cruised around Cape Horn! I've also transitted the Panama Canal three times and flown over the Antarctic Peninsula at 500 feet twice! I've also travelled on one of QE2's last transatlantic crossings eastbound when we were overflown by Concorde on her last day of service.

 

My great interests are photographing wildlife as well as natural landscapes and features (glaciers/mountains etc) as well as some city centre architectural shots (Taj Mahal/Rio/St Petersburg).
